I chaired an enjoyable Sherlock panel last week at the Museum of London; there were audience-pleasing contribution from the floor by Moriarty/Hound of the D’Urbervilles author Kim Newman; to get there, I found myself walking through pea-souper fog past Hansom cabs in Charterhouse Square with men in top hats being filmed for new Sherlock series!
