Wonderful — and cool!(literally) — Dagger Awards dinner at Kings Place. Early on, I asked Lee Child if everyone was congratulating him for just being Lee Child.. the little matter of a pending Diamond Dagger award had slipped my mind. (Congrats to Alison Joseph and Lucy Santos on stellar organisation of the evening!)
